Registration CS registration for medical student

After posting & reading many threads, I got the booster dose to start my USMLE journey with CS...Thank you USMLE-Forums & STAFF

I am planning to take the CS after my elective period next summer(I hope I get it inshalla).

I read the ECFMG registration step by step topic...I understood that the first step is to get the ECFMG ID number. Then may you tell me what are the next steps regarding I am still medical student.
I read that I need 183 form...so what about the verification process ? When to pay for exam ?
I hope I get the the answers of these question in the steps

P.S : I did not apply for CK nor Step 1...so this is would be the first USMLE exam.

Arrow Steps of CS registration

After getting your USMLE ID you go to IWA and pay the $1200 fees and apply for the CS.
They will ask you to fill form 183 and some other forms and they'll contact your medical school to verify your student status.
After that they'll send you your scheduling permit.
After that you can go to OASIS and schedule your exam.

Thank you dear Sabio.
So the verification process is the same that for Graduates ?

Yes, it's the same as long as this is your first step. Next steps would be much easier.
