Hey guys. I took the cs recently. I was able to cope with the nervousness and I think I did everything pretty well. I was empathetic, I councelled, I summarized, I was wearing gloves everytime, taking the foot rest out, etc, etc. My encounteres looked pretty much like cse video, EXCEPT thei one thing that I am worried about now. In almost all cases (in at least 8 cases I guess) I did the focused physical only (i e I examined only the relevant system). I did this to spend more time on closure and PN. My PN's are all good I believe. Is there anyone here, who did the same (the focused pe only) and passed? :)

thanks for the reply. I've heard different opinions on the PE issue. Some people and some review sources say focused PE is totally OK, other say that doing heart and lungs is necessary in ALL cases. I've heard that Kaplan people recommend doing focused PE only on they live course. I was doing heart and lungs in every case when I was practicing at home, but I just could not make myself do that on the real test in cases when it was totally unrelated to CC.
I wonder, do we have to do heart and lungs in appendicitis or meningitis case? Or is it gonna be enough to do abd and neuro (respectively) ONLY and spend more time summarizing, closing and addressing concerns?

The above examples are imaginary cases to illustrate my question.
