Help Measuring tape for liver span?

Hi!

Do we get measuring tape for measuring liver span in CS? n commom pins for checking sharp touch?

you dont need a measuring tape. cos in all SPs (since they are actors) physical examination is usually normal.

n u get toothpicks for fine touch

But what to write in PN about liver span if we havnt measured it? Coz in many cases liver span is a relevant exam eg chronic hepatitis, jaundice etc. Plus we need to mark a point on SP chest for measuring liver span. That will again be a prob.

Yes you can mention that in a relevant case, by saying liver span is normal (percussion & deep palliation).

liver span is measured by percussion
most cases liver span will be normal
and u will put normal liver span in ur case note
