What would you do if you had hiccups attack during the encounter

I would try to stop it immediately. My technique is to hold my breath for as long as I can. Then, I would apologize to the SP and then continue what I was doing (quickly of course, because time doesn't stop)

if it does not stop just apologise and say u must be finding it a bit funny bt when its cold..or if its summers say hot i get these hiccups.
tell him " i want u to ignore this and continue on the issue thats bothering you sir.

Is it okay to say " plz excuse me ,let me have a glass of water to stop these hiccups" ???? and after drinking glass of water say " I am sorry for this and lets continue on the issue that's bothering you "....

Is this okay to say ????

yes its perfectly ok .........

infact the patient will be sympathetic to you , act as if you have a bad cold and appear as if you were sick ......
