Default chalenging questions thread: seductive patient

Hello:

If today pt is seductive and invites doctor to go out after job. What can we say to this seductive SP??

Can we say: Now I want to focus on your symptom, based on physician- patient relationship, I cannot go out with you? But I think this implies that if SP is not our pt anymore, she can go out with doctor.

Any comments?

I honestly don't think that kinda case will ever appear on the CS and in case it does, given all the crazy things they're doing to the exam nowadays, just tell the patient that you are not allowed to have any outside relationship with the patient because you are her physician.

If they do that they might be just testing the correct response and the pt. will not consider it rude because thats what she's supposed to hear from the doc.

Almost all the cases in the CS exam are the common daily medical cases. Nothing unusual.
