Unhappy CS Application Approval Delay!

I filled in the online application for cs exam on january 17th. But the update i get on ecfmg site is " in process" I have heard it takes only 3weeks for processing . I even called them up they did not give any extra information told once done will hear from them I need to take exam by may , and I am super scared about dates getting filled. Anybody had the same issue with their application process?

What is your exact date Nisha?
I am registering for May 15th. Need to take CK on the April 15th, and leaving exactl 4 weeks for CS prep.
I still have to register for CS, you reckon I do it right away?

Nisha, I was filling the online form that's asking me for previous NBME registration. I put in my Step 1 Applicant identifiaction number, right? When I put that number, the last two digits won't enter :S What does that mean?

Hi guys!

Good to see you both here! I applied on 26th January for both Step 2 exams and I received approval last week. I am going to take my Step 2 Cs on 27th March in Chicago and Ck in June/July. What do you think about my strategy? Don't worry about finding spots, because they don't fill that fast. Do you guys have enough time to study for Ck to take it in April?

Right now I am reading the minicases from Fa. I also read the introduction part from Fa regarding the interview and clinical exam. I think I will also subscribe to Cse videos and also see all the maneuvers that I need to know. Next week I plan to start doing some practice. I hope it works.

I am using FA book and Kaplan's most common 35 cases for CS. I also purchased the Uworld Videos. 3 of my friends just took CS and all 3 passed using this material. I hope to find someone to practice on.
Good luck!
