Help To sit or not to sit

hi guyz.. I read somewhere dat its better to take history while standing.. i was actually planning to sit while taking history to last for 12 cases which will be a long time... does dat really matter?

What iv read so far is that you can sit (after asking if the patient doesn't mind) if its nor ER...if its ER than you should stand. hope it helps!

So what I inferred from the replies and link by step taker in ever ER case we shud stand and for other cases preferably stand but its ok to sit if we hv to after politely asking permission from patient.. Am I right?

Yes...thats what I'm going to do...stand for every ER patient, and sit for all others.

Can u pls temme for pre employment/ insurance form do we hv to fill that form or simply type the PN as in other cases? I can't find the related thread...

Im not sure...but i think that i read somewhere that in case of pre employment form, the pt gives you the form, you take it outside, fill it in and hand it over (telling the pt that you will mail the form back to him)...no need for a PN....for insurance i have no idea...lets see if someone else can help us with that one!
