Default how many days for step 2 cs application to get processed?

Hey guys,

I am one of the many ppl who want to apply for match 2014 but didnt know CS dates start filling up so fast during these months.
I paid the fees and applied 1 week ago. I am worried because my application has not been processed still and till that time i cannot register.
I wanted to know how long does it usually take for the application to go through during these months with ECFMG?

Thanks for ur help.

it took them a month from applying to step 2 cs , also it took them a month when I applied for step 1 (which I took after step 2 ) , that's how long it takes sorry , but also my friends had to wait for a month to get their permit.
I know it's frustrating especially when you're on the clock & wanna take the CS before July 17th

I'm not sure if that period of waiting varies, I'm talking about what happened to me ,but actually I called ECFMG 3 weeks after applying to make sure there was no problem , they told me it takes UP TO 4 WEEKS.
& you can't do sh!t till they send you the scheduling permit.
I know it's frustrating , sorry.

Default 3-4 weeks

They usually take any where between 3-4 weeks but if they have a lot of applications to process then it takes longer
Mine took exactly 25 days!
You can call ECFMG and they'll tell you that they are processing applications submitted on so and so date today and you can expect yours to be processed by so and so date
Try it! It is going to alleviate your anxiety about when your scheduling permit will be available and you can focus your energy into CS Prep
Good luck

Default congrats

hmm makes sense now. The processing time depends on the load of applications they receive, since the session was ending and remains closed for the rest of may, not many people apply during this time. that explains your 15 day time for processing
At any rate all that matters is that you got your scheduling permit
Congrats
Hope you get the desired date and center!

Default great

I am glad that it all worked out for you!
I feel that we all stress over the fact that a lot of stuff regarding ecfmg is uncertain, but it all turns out well in the end.
If you are a mnemonic kind of person follow the posts on CS tips , there's a lot of helpful tips there
