Computer check4change

hi..cud any1 tell me exactly how to use c4c? do i select the dates on the ecfmg webpage and set that for checking? i mean if and when one of the dates turn blue/yellow will that be taken as a change and will i get to know about it?? also, i have a date for 27th sept...anyone wid a date in july who wants to swap fr some reason?

select the desired date and rt click...select Check4change and set the minimum refresh rate possible, which i think is 10 sec. you can set up an audio alarm for the change so that it can wake u up if u r sleeping with it

Default c4c takes too long!!

a slot has opened five times during tha day and i swear i could not possibly be taking more that 3 second to get to it but by the time i schedule it that date's already gone..every time!! is there any way to bypass this??

yes i was....just keep trying. That's what others are doing who get the dates.make sure your net connection is fast

No, you just have to keep trying. Remember, like you, there are 100's of people using C4C. It also depends on where your C4C happen to check when the date actually becomes available in comparison to other people. For example, if the date becomes available 5 second after your C4C checked you won't know for 25 seconds while other people whose C4C checked 25 seconds ago will know in 5 seconds. I have seen dates go so fast that even the ECFMG's Step 2 CS Availability software is unable to cope thereby you won't get the automated email from them if the spot goes very fast.
I hope C4C can update the software to check every 5 seconds now. OR you can set up 5 computers at 5 second intervals.
