Clock Am I in time??

I recently came to know that you need to apply for step 2 cs before 13 of July so you can be ECFMG certified for 2014 match. My CS exam is on 19 July. Will I be able to apply for this match. Can I be ECFMG certified in time?? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks

No, you wont be able to be ECFMG certified on time
Your result will be out by October 9th;almost a month after the match registry opens. Wont be as bad but you will miss a substantial window of opportunity.

I am confused. I assume you have already applied for the exam, right? I guess you mean you have to take it before July 13?
If yes, why not just take it on July 12 or something like that?

Default Thank you

Thank you guys for your reply. Yes I recently came to know about it. I have booked the flight and the hotel. If I will move the date I will loose lot of money. I am verified by ecfmg but my other paper work is not complete like LOR and personal statement yet and I am a old IMG with not grt scores .so I will really appreciate yr input about should I go ahead and apply for this year's match without ecfmg certificate or wait for next year's match which will make me one more year older

takes way too much time... best thing to do is C4C in firefox. I've been watching several swaps on june (20-24) or july (But nothing before july/15).
You might give it a try... it works.. .but you have to be supper supper fast. Those opportunities don't last more than 30 secs.
