Default Question about causing pain again with exam maneuvers

Say if the pt has appendicitis. You would start the abd exam with palpation and they would have pain in the RLQ. You would then do the psoas, rovsing and obturator sign. Are we allowed to do all these maneuvers if it causes pain in the area or we not supposed to repeat the same maneuver? Same goes with cholecystitis. Palpation will cause RUQ pain and then murphy's sign will cause it again. Thanks.
