Question Counseling about advance directive ?

How we have to council about advance directive to a terminally ill patient , eg, terminal cancer pt ??

It is highly unlikely that you will get such a question in the real test.
However, for such questions and any other unexpected questions just remember the basic rules:
1. Be empathetic
2. Be honest (no false reassurances)
3. Be diplomatic and never commit to a diagnosis or treatment.

So, in above example I would say something like " Mr. Smith, what do you understand about your condition?
Mr. Smith: Yes, I am going to die in 6 months
You: Would you be interested in talking to our counselor about it ?
Mr. Smith: Yes
You: I konw it is hard to discuss right now but I would like to know How would you like to be treated medically if your heart/breathing stops ?
