Unhappy I'm very scared about this CS exam

I've been studying for at least 5-6 weeks, I've done FA at least 3 times (or 2.8ish)

I passed step 1 and English is my second language.

My test is on Wednesday and I'm really worried.

I'm using Fordappap and liqorfadapat , pamhugsfoss wade (wade appetite diet exercise) and tpi (travel, ppd/hiv, I'll contacts) .

I'm fairly good with the Pn, since I'm really good at typing and I worked on a ER,... so I know how to organize my ideas fast.

I've been preparing some phrases, which I've practiced a lot, to help me make sure I get those CIS points.

I'm fairly good with the data gathering although sometimes I can't organize my idea very well under pressure.

I'm scared that I will have a panic attack in the middle of the exam. My test is on Wednesday and I feel it creeping up on me.

My spoken English is fairly good when km calmed but my tongue can get entangled when I'm nervous.

I was really nervous for the step 1 too but I was able to calm myself and take my time to relax during the first block.

I dunno how to do this in front of a patient who is both screaming at me and rating my performance :/. My voice gets all weird.... good lord.

Today I got a new patient /friend to do a case for me and although I did everything my voice when too low (without me noticing it) and the Sp told me to raise my voice.

Yesterday I had someone do an anxious patient walking around, I used all within my power to calm him (I'm here to support you, let's work together, calm down, we are a team and I need your help) but NOTHING got him to stop. I tried to continue but I just freaked out and had to stop, I basically forgot everything that o learned...

Take a Propranolol before the exam. That may help.

Hey man, the main reason people fail this exam is because they get too nervous! I would advise you to just stay calm but I think you are one of those people who knows their stuff but has a LOT of TEST ANXIETY. You should try to take some Propranolol like the other person said but it will not last you the full length of the exam. I would suggest you practice more under real exam conditions. If you feel you are not ready, try to postpone your exam - don't go into it and freak out and fail.

Also, the practice SP you are working with is OVER-DRAMATIC. The real exam does not have patients who will pace around and act crazy. I have done the exam myself and I have talked to many of my friends who have successfully passed this exam and I have never heard of an SP screaming at them either. They may act really depressed or act like they are in pain but it is easy to talk to them. Remember - you don't have to make a depressed person feel better - they are just trying to see if you are empathetic - so all you have to do is make an ATTEMPT to make them feel better: "Don't worry MR. X everything will be alright - you came to me for help and that is what I'm going to do."

OR if you get an anxious SP - you should make an ATTEMPT to calm them down by making a statement like "I know you're feeling anxious but I need you to slow down, take a seat, and take nice slow breaths for me." And then try to get the SP to talk more about why he/she is feeling so anxious. Once you get them to talk they will calm down. Don't get so caught up in the way the patient is behaving.

Another example, you walk into a room and the SP in lying on the bench with his eyes covered and saying he's in pain. Right away you ask, "what is going on mr.x?" and he says "oh i'm in soo much pain I can't talk to you right now!" and then you should say "how come your eyes are covered?" and he'll say "cause the lights hurt!". then you go and dim the lights in the room and then you say "Ok Mr.X, I've dimmed the lights, is that better? Please tell me where the pain is so I can help you?" and so on. There's no need to get caught up in his pain and discomfort more than that! After that first minute you should just focus on getting as much information from him as you can. Even if he whines about pain, you must still insist to do a little bit of a focused physical exam.

Hope this helps man.
