Question CS Exam near Elective

i recently took my step 1,,,planing to do elective and pass CS at the same time and same place (i mean, wan to do elective and give cs exam at location where test center are there,,,)

i am confused,,,,, how to proceed,,,should i start with applying for elective first and wait untill i get reply from them and then apply for cs exam,,, or should i first conform my test center and date for cs exam then apply for elective in the same location,,..

please kindly reply,, thanking you...!

There are only 5 CS Centers in USA. It's difficult to plan an elective in the same city as that of the exam center.

I suggest you go ahead and schedule the exam now (since you might not get seats at the date you want if you wait) and then if you get the elective in that city then it's perfect and if not you just have to arrange a 2-3 days travel to the exam center.
