Help Starting CS Preparation

I am recently fresh out of CK and was wondering how to begin preparing for step 2 CS?
I have First aid CS 4th edition as well as Kaplan step 2 CS 2010 edition..
Was wondering if I need Kaplan step 2 core cases and where to start?
any help will b appreciated.

Hey DrSrb, I just started my CS prep today by reading the first two and a half chapters from FA. I also bought Kaplan core cases and I'm planning on reading it as soon as I finish FA, if it's worth it. I'll take the exam in April/May, so I guess I still have a lot of time, I might as well take a live course.

Hey rock solid.. Sounds like a plan..
What I hv gathered from all d experiences I hv r read on d forum as well as from my friends who hv taken d exam recently.. All u need is first aid along with the study partner.. That's the best prep method..

Live course is like getting familiar with the exam setting.. I am more interested in their simulated exam day so I get to experience what I am gng to be dealing with on the exam.. Not running into it blindfolded.. Screwed up my step 1..
will take goldusmleprep NY only In march..
