Texas Houston Southern Accent!

Hello guys,

Anybody took the CS EXAM at Houston? I want to take it there but worried about the southern accent, do SPs speak with accent hard to understand?

I had this experience actually. One of the SPs had a southern accent that was hard for me to understand though I grew up in Texas. It shouldn't affect your encounter much however.

Hi! I have been living in the New York-New Jersey area for some years and I went to Philadelphia for my test (no problems, I passed). Most of my friends who live in my same area went to Houston and they didn't have any inconvenience with the accent. The SP's are well trained to be understood by the doctors and also understand us, despite the accent. Of course, the Spoken English Proficiency must be high enough. Good luck in your test
