Default about PN

hello guys,

i would like to ask some questions about PN :

1.regarding the P/E , should i only write relevant p/e ( for example : if the case is lower back pain , do i have to to examine other systems ?)

2.the second point is the important one : guys i failed the first time bcz of the PN ( low performance , not even borderline) , what i wanna ask is : is it possible
that i failed bcz i typed wrong D/Dx in some cases ( is that enough to fail in the exam ?) bcz some cases i had no clue what they were ?

plz tell if possible , what sort of things that may affect badly on PN and fail me ?

and thank

Default Check CS booklet

Sorry to hear about your previous experience.. If you have not read the Cs booklet of 2014, please read it carefully on the usmle.org. There are lot's of important information on it. To answer your qs, they emphasize:

1. Do a focused P/E. First do the relevant organ system check. if you have time then you can do parts of organ system eg just auscultate heart and lungs.

2. There's detailed info on how they graded the PN. what can hurt your score and what can improve it. So please do check it out. Major points are: your ddx should be in the order of likelihood. Use correct medical terms. Ask for appropriate work up - not overly aggressive.
