Postpone my CS exam

Hi,

I've scheduled my exam next January 2010 but it seems that am not going to make it to US.

Can you help on when is the best time to postpone the CS

You have to reschedule 14 days or more before your scheduled CS exam to avoid paying $50 fees.

Here's what the ECFMG is saying about this

If you cancel more than 14 calendar days before (but not including) your scheduled test date, there is no fee to reschedule.
If you cancel during the 14-day period before (but not including) your scheduled test date, your fee will be $150 when you reschedule.
If you miss your scheduled testing appointment without canceling, your fee will be $400 when you reschedule.

Remember that your CS eligibility is 12 months and you cannot reschedule outside your 12 months eligibility period otherwise you have to pay a new $1200 application fees.
