Default percussion with gloves on

Hi guys, I was wondering is it ok to do percussion with gloves on? It feels a little weird. Doesn't make much sound as it does usually. Little confused if I'm doing the right thing.

Wearing gloves has it's pros and cons -

Pros -
Shortens the time involved. You also don't break eye contact with the SP and more importantly can utilize this time to ask random, ice breaker sort of questions and recheck with the patient if there is something you missed out on. It's probably a good time to summarize the HPI as well. Percussion will not be an issue, especially since you are never going to appreciate any real physical findings anyway.

Cons -
It can be a hassle, removing and tying back the patient's gown. In which case just make a single knot and leave it at that. The more you try and maneuver, the more time you'll end up taking.

Default percussion with gloves

once you have decided to do PE with gloves and not to wash the hands, is it possible to do all other maneuvers with gloves and take them off just for the percussion in the middle of PE while you do not even have enough time to do thorough exams for all involved systems???

listen, there is absolutely no time for you to put gloves on than take them off.. who says that person can not percuss w gloves on? just keep them on for as long as you do exam, and once you are finished take then off, tie gown back while you are summarizing your findings and starting counseling. remember, this is all fake, fake pt, fake illnesses and than you get sham exam. it is described in FA for cs, what to expect during pt encounters. i did fundus exam on 2, do you really think i actually saw something??? or do you think that they know how should it be done perfectly??? they are just common people hired to do act. so, you act as well.
