Question Should we repeat the info in present illness and in past history

What do you think if there is some infromation which is usually mentioned in the related history (FH, SH, drug history ..etc) should be mentioned in the history of present illness.
For example patient has symptoms and signs of allergy should it be mentioned that there is no history of drug allergy in both present complaint and allergy history.
Or someone has diabetes should family history of diabetes be mentioned in both the present complaint and family history. Or a man having asthma should the occupation be mentioned in both the present complaint and social history and so on.

Whats your advice for this? Should it be repeated in both? Should it be just enough to mention it in the present complaint ?

Arrow You don't need to repeat

If the past history is critically relevant then it's better to be mentioned in the history of present illness.

If you mention it in the present illness, then you don't repeat the info in the relevant past history section. Just type the following for example; FH: as stated in HPI.
