eg-in the case of sore throat if i mention throat examination and negative finding in abdominal examination(for splenomegaly) and skip to write all other examinations in PN is allowed or not??
will really appreciate your suggestions
In PE you have to write whatever you did. For example for sore throat you would do HEENT, Lungs and Heart, so you would write whatever you find normal and abnormal. Pertinent negative and positives you list in PE column to support your DD i.e. when you list your DDs.
FA is still based on old exam and I think the new edition is coming this August, so in FA they only have Hx, PE, DD and work up, so you have to adjust whatever is in FA to the new format of the exam. Btw in FA they do almost complete PE, for many cases there is no way you can do the systems that they list, you have to do focused PE, so adjust it accordingly.
