Default Passed cs comfortably despite these mistakes..

Just wanted to try and give some reassurance for those still anxiously waiting for their result.

Passed today, higher performance comfortably in all 3 areas despite these mistakes:
-ran out of time on one patient note and completely left the investigations section blank
-most diagnoses had only 2-3 supporting history findings, none had more than 3. Very few pertinent negatives throughout. Most diagnoses had only 1 physical exam supporting finding.
-did really only a token physical exam on about half of the patients, like really brief.
-left out some (in some instances many) manouvers in every single exam on every single patient
-accidentally may have documented a few things erroneously
-physical exam was documented really very briefly, very similar to FA but shorter in some instances
-had a pretty poor differential in one patient

Things which i felt helped me:

-I had a solid knowledge base from CK, so good differentials and plan for most patients.
-I finished every case with 3-4 mins to spare as i wanted more time for closure, counselling, and to spend on the patient note, so i sacrificed on the physical exam part and am hugely relieved that it worked out in the end (was v worried about this after the exam).
-Most of my encounter was taken up with history and closure.

In retrospect I think the hardest / highest risk area (for people with good English proficiency) is definitely ICE. Learn some empathising remarks and counselling techniques, then focus your prep on ICE. The physical exam is probably of less importance than the other encounter aspects from my experience, so dont stress out too much about this. That being said, ICE was my lowest scoring area and i have scores >260 on the steps and several years of emergency med experience, so if i were to do it again i would've spent more time getting my routines down so i could have done a good focused "proper" exam on every patient, i dont know how much this wouldve affected my ICE score but would have reduced my anxiety waiting for the result for sure!

I studied for 4 days using FA.

Didnt use mnemonics, just did:

HPI
Relevant systematic enquiry
Prev similar episodes
MHx
Surg Hx
Meds
Allergies
FHx
SHx
Including sexual and menstrual hx where appropriate.

Treat it like a normal patient history taking, I dont really see a need for mnemonics, if anything they may get in the way of getting to the point of things

You have no idea how much similar my mistakes are from yours. (Except for missing any portion on PN) I did a completely crappy physical in 2 of my cases and in the rest of the cases i did an okay relevant physical. Everyone told me to focus on closures and that was what i did. I am scared to death waiting for results as i am really concerned about my super focussed and well in some parts crappy PE.

You will be totally fine. I was equally worried, honestly my physical exam was a total joke in at least half of my patients, and i still passed ICE comfortably (AND its marked by both the PN, of which i screwed up one, and PE)
