i gt a very high score on ice.......and according to me ur ice score is decided by how sensible and logical your note is. Are you able to formulate your diagnosis and support it!!!! I may have missed a lot of questions but my notes were like u wrld question.i tried to write them in a eay such that when the examiner read it he knew y i had written that , n that i didn't just use a checklist.......i did hv mnemonic but i never really stuck to them.....i just asked in a flow.
i have seen ppl use mnemonics for every symptom which i find very stupid coz u will mess up on the xam day coz of stress, and what if you get a case u never made a mnemonic for?

Default Don't use mnemonics. You have to act like a real doctor(or person), by memorizing headache or stroke questions you start to act robotic. And believe me, I think, those actors know mnemonics much better us. Because they see hundreds of step 2cs taking

Don't use mnemonics. You have to act like a real doctor(or person), by memorizing headache or stroke questions you start to act robotic. And believe me, I think, those actors know mnemonics much better us. Because they see hundreds of step 2cs taking people every day.
In the beginning of my preparation I had one study partner acting like above mentioned. He was making mnemonics for everything. He tried to convince me that that is the only way to study and have good scores on ICE.
Thanks to God I realized he was wrong soon, just a couple days spent with him, that were useless.
So bottom line: the only mnemonic I used was LIQORAA and I used it only for pain cases.
Other cases- try to think. You are the doctor, you medical knowledge is much more than actors knowledge.
The second most important is your notes. FA notes are outdated, I found out UW notes and Kaplan's cs book(Broatman author) to be more useful for me. Also I took private course which helped me a lot in note writing. But I think book and UW is enough to master notes.

My ICE component was in higher portion, so my info can be useful.
