Default If u want to pass cs!!

After reading the blogs about people who have failed , my advice to all is not to give up because this exam is not going to decide if you will be a good doctor or not. This exam is just another hurdle to jump if people want to practice in usa.
things to do to pass this exam
1) this exam is not an easy exam to pass treat it just like the other step exams,
2)study for atleast 2 months.
3)use first aid book mini cases+big cases., study a general intro, counseling, closure.
4)study with partner and tell him/her to act out a case from mini cases or big cases and you must be a detective to find out what the dx is .
5) get the diagnosis close to your partners if you get the right diagnosis even better.
6) make sure you not just learn the ddx but also the specific questions you need to ask for them, so in the exam when the sp says no no no to all the questions the specific questions are the key to open up the diagnosis.
7)practice typing notes in caps lock trust me this will buy you some time.
8) type the note based on priority ( 1st hpi, 2nd diff diagnosis,3rd workup,4th physical exam, 5th pamhugsfoss which will be mostly none)

The best way to pass the exam is to present cases in medical school on a daily basis and to practise cis, something img are not taught very well, while u r preparing for it
It's not as tough as some ppl have made it.....I think 3 weeks are good enuf .
Just go in what a open mind , donot try to mug every dd , read them Dnt mug , and try to relax and enjoy ........
Read fa only, best available resource
I was **** scared about this exam , but I sailed thru it
