Default Time for patient note

Guys I have a question. When we finish our patient encounter and come out of the room then Is the time for patient note continuous with it or do they let us settle down? I was confused because they always say that time will be added up when we finish our encounter earlier so I was thinking how that works. It will be great if somebody could answer this from their experience. Thank you!

When the encounter is over youll leave the room asap and then go to your computer and enter your badge number then start your patient note. If you finish your interview and physical exam early you can leave and just get straight to typing. When the timer says this patient encounter is over, just continue to type since you left the room early. hope this helps!
