Question SP is in severe pain!

SP is in severe pain..
What would be my response.."I will try to do as quick possible.."..& then any thing else?

Say this.

I am really sorry that you are suffering such pain. I promise that I will immediately order for your pain medicines once I get out of the room but you have to help me first reach a diagnosis first by allowing me to take proper history and physicals so that then we can decide on the proper treatment for you"

Once you say this, the SP usually lower down their pain expression and they'll let you finish, they are trained to do so.
