Question Psychiatric Patient Screaming to go home!

How do we deal this situation
As soon as we enter the room..the SP starts screaming and says she doesn't need a Dr and there is nothing wrong with her and she wants to go home? (psychiatric case)

Approach sympathetically. Address the patient needs, like if she wants to go home assure her that you'll let her go home soon.
Tell her that you are here to take care of her and that you want to make her happy with no pains or aches.

Btw, I don't think you'll see such case in the CS exam but everything is possible.

Usually SPs return to normal state once they see that you adequately addressed their concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.

In a psychiatric patient who has suicidal tendencies, you have to detain the patient and keep him/her under observation.
Please dont give them a false reassurance that you will allow them to go home.
That would be marked negatively.

I said soon.
Soon means one hour or one week, it's a vague sentence.

If you say "we'll not let you go home, the SP will shout more and you can't calm her down this way".
