Smile step 3 application process

Hello guys,

I'm an IMG I'm done with step's 98/99/pass and want to take step 3 before residency to increase my chances.... but I have no idea how the process takes place. I'm not a US citizen, do I need a special visa to take step 3 or can I take it as a tourist in US, what books do you recommend, I want to get 99 so it doesn't seem sloppy compared to my previous steps.

Thanks in advance

Default Visa to take Step 3

You don't need any special visa to take Step 3. All you need is to be present in the United States, hold valid ECFMG certificate, and hold valid Government produced ID.

Exam is administered in Prometric Centers in USA.
