Default advise

hello

i saw this forums is really helpful. i am an IMG, step1 score 203(2nd attempt), step2 cs(failed attempt),trying for USCE, YOG 4years. plz tell wt r u the chances for me to get in residency in USA. i am very stressed out while studying for step1 2nd attempt,but i m happy atleast i passed my exam.

so anybody plz advise me shal i continue USMLE or quit it.

I will be honest with you. Though your chances are extremely difficult but if one thing I learned in this life, that nothing is impossible.
You could always Score higher in Step 2 CK and Step 3.
You could enroll as a research fellow and publish several papers.
You could get a MS in Clinical research, MPH etc and follow that with a PhD.
Establish connections during OSCEs and observerships with PDs.

There are many ways to improve your application. If your trip to the US is a one way trip! then do everything possible to achieve it.

thanku pr.game. i m looking abt chances to get residency in pediatrics or FM. anybody plz reply if they know apart from usce and externships n research with LORs wt r the chances?

I got 218 on step 1 . YOG will be 2015. Have 2 electives in IM.
Do I have a chance to match in Pediatrics?
