Default It's over .....Passed Step 3!!

I'm very happy to have passed this on my second attempt. This was a do or die battle and thankful to all friends, this forum, family and GOD. Applying for Match next year.
Ask me if you need any suggestions especially those who failed do not lose heart, please place trust in GOD and good things will come your way.

Based on the report I guess my first day didn't go too well, but i killed day 2.
I think day 1 has a lot of step 1 material in it, plus lots of biostatistics. In my medical school, we were never taught how to interpret medical literature, or anything about evidence-based medicine, so lectures on that would definitely help.
Day 2 MCQs were much easier for me. UW and Archer helped a lot.

This is a snapshot of what I did; you may find it useful. These are what i thought were good and best for my exam.

Total study time (6 hours per day): 3 months
1. USMLE Kaplan Step 2 notes: browsed through all the books. Very Good
2. Archer: listened to all the videos, including CCS videos -I watched those twice.
Watching Archer videos really helped me loads. I noted down all the steps for each case and asked my dad to verbally quiz me on the workup and simulations. I did better than I thought on CCS (I thought I totally blew it!). The Best!!
3. Kaplan qbank: once, Good
4. Uworld qbank: The Best! did it once, helped a lot ; Great course!
5. CCS uworld: three times ( tried to do 5-8 cases per night); Great for practice
6. NBME forms approx 2 weeks before the exam, excellent timed practice

This exam was no doubt the toughest exam out of all of them. I am glad it is over.
Thank you and wish you the best!!

Hi Sinha,
Congratulations!
Is Archer really necessary? I watched one of the videos and the slides are really packed with information and the presenter is extremely monotonous.
What do you think about MedQuest by Fisher?

Thanks peterpan. I never found Fisher very effective either for Step 2 or Step3. Fisher does not explain concepts needed distracting too much in to his own humor. Concepts are very crucial on step 3 especially on foundations after they changed the exam. Archer hits Step 3 bull's eye with CCS approach and many MCQ concepts but I also used Kaplan Step2ck notes and UW qbank which are very very helpful.

Congratulations!
It is all about persistence and how hard you work until success. I feel very happy for you.
I have a question, do you think using only Uworld Qbank is necessary for passing the test?

Congrats on Passing. Do you think UW bank for step3 covers enough info required to get decent score?
or do we need to add something else too?
I am doing UW plus mtb.

it is not the toughest, its the easiest. Step 1 by far is the worst.

Congratulations! Thanks for your suggestions.

Do you think we could skip Kaplan Qbank if we don't have enough time on our hands? Or do you think Kaplan really helped with those unexpected ques?

Thank you! Regards
