Registration Prerequisities for Step 3?

I applied for step 3. I read and heard a lot about requirements to get into step 3 and how they are different in different states. I am not sure, but I think I read something about some states requiring a year of training inside the US before you are elegible for step 3.

Anyway, I put in my application that I am applying for the Florida Board. My residency is in Florida, but I may take the exam in another state, Nevada or Alabama. Does anybody knows how it works? I finished step 1 and step 2 (CK and CS). Do you have to meet the requirements for where you want to take the residency or for where you want to take the test? If I want to take the test in another state that I mentioned in my application, do I have to change my application?

Thanks!

Your can schedule your Step 3 Exam in any Prometric Center in USA regardless of which State you have applied with.

It has nothing to do with the place of your residency and you don't need to any paper work, just go schedule it in the place you like.
