Default My step3 experience 233

Alhamdulillah that I have done with one of the tough steps. I am going to write my experience for future examinees.

Duration: 3 months
MTB 3: only 1 read very quick. But did not help much
UW Q bank: is the key. I did it first time subjectwise and timed manner, avg: 66% , then I only revised whole Qbank 2nd time.
CCS: did 3 times UW. Archer only listen to one strategy video.
UWSA: 233, no NBME
Real xam: 233

Day1: though I felt better after day 1, I have actually high to low performance in biostat and ethics. Ethics ques you have to guess, I think I did all drug adds and literature ques wrong. Ques length was ok, lots of drug mechanism of action. Most xam consist of biostat and ethics.

Day2: day 2, I thought I did worst, but score says just opposite with better performace than FIP. Ques length were too long. Very confusing answers. Got high performance

CCS: had 7, 20 mins and 6, 10 mins cases. My first case did not improve, also messed up 2nd case. I thought that time I am gonna fail. I took a break, thank to Allah, My other cases improved. Though I guess I did many silly mistakes and did not order some follow up orders, messed 2 cases, still I have high performance in CCS. Dont miss read out 40 cases in UW which I discovered suddenly 2 weeks before xam.

This xam was really tough. Take it seriously.
Good Bye USMLEs
Pray for my match guys.

Yeh, its better to use many sources for CCS, as only 5-6 of my cases were from UW. Others I managed from my knowledge. I actually did not bought archer so no idea. Borrowed from someone for 1day to just watch strategy video, dont have much money
