Embarrassed Sexual activity in post MI patients

Hi all;

According to MTB 3, M.I. pts. can resume sexual activity immediately, but in UW it states that these pts. should refrain from sexual ativity at least 2 weeks and if the pts underwent PCI they can resume the activity after 4-6 weeks.
So which one is more appropriate?

Right away as far as I know. Supposedly the oxygen demand only raises for a short period of time. Not enough for angina to develop.

You are right as it's mentioned in MTB3 neither the duration nor the intensity of the activity would precipitate a cardiac event.
But in UW, they recommend 2 w sex free period
