Question Can u schedule step3 just like step1 and CK?

Is the scheduling permit and choosing a date for step 3 the same as for step 1 and CK?

(I know u have to NBME not ECFMG. what Im worried about is that someone told me that the exam is conducted only 2 times/year)

Im confused!

Arrow Just like Step 1 and CK

It's just like Step 1 and CK, the exam is available round the year in all days (Except holidays) and at Prometric centers.

The major differences from Step 1 and CK are:
  • Exam is available only in USA and not available overseas
  • Registration is with FSMB not with ECFMG
  • You have to be ECFMG certified before you can take it
