So im starting step 3 prep.
Anybody in the same boat that wants to follow roughly the same schedule.. or keep/need company while studying... please let me know
the materials im planning on covering are
Knowledge base
1- Kaplan step 3 videos ONLY (along with conrad fischers book)
2- MTB 3
3- Archers CCS videos.
Question base:
1- Kaplan qbank (first - while still covering knowledge base)
2- Uworld qbank (after kaplan is done)
3- UW CCS cases
Reference : MTB step 2 CK book/ Kaplan step 2 CK notes/ jasons family med board review book
anyone that wants to study together.. please comment below.
roughly estimating to take the test sometime in jan/feb.
frankly because of the gap between CK and step 3 prep.... my attention span has really gone down! i find it hard to sit in one place n study for too long...
gonna take some working to get back into the groove.
Hence i felt that the videos were a good and time efficient way to revise CK stuff... and also learn some approaches to CCS.
Fischer does some of them and faesalis does the rest.
hvnt started on any qbank yet.. might start with kaplan qbank soon though.
same here as far as concenteration is concerned. I don't have step3 videos so just started with MTB3. done with cardio, hemat, endo, respi and starting with GI today. I am hardly able to put in 2-3 hours/day even though I have nothing else to do. Where are you guys based in US?
Hey mbbs2010
I am a fresh medical grad from India and took CK three months ago. I planned to take Step 3 on 26/27th Dec but I cancelled last moment cuz my NBME was bad.
I dont have a plan to prepare. Do you want to coordinate things and prepare together? Please let me know.
I am in a mess right now, but I have a good profile with steps, USCE and research so far. All I need is to get this last hurdle out of the way. And I plan to take it by 10th Feb.
If you want to coordinate things please reply back and e can take it from there.
Thanks
