Clock When to stop the clock in CCS?

when should i use (continue) or (stop timing)
when i should use this or this
also what s the usual real timing of cc
sometimes when i practice the case on ccs
the real time extends to 10 min and sometimes it cuts at 8 min
it s like moody or what

In 8+@ min case it will definitely end at 8 minutes and can never go beyond this and then you get 2 min to write remaining stuff/cancel orders etc. In 18+2 min case it will never go beyond 18 minutes.
Having said that the case may end earlier than allotted time based on if you did manage well or may be you did not.
