USA Which state? needs advice

I want to apply for step 3 exam.
There are several states which don't require clinical experience.
But, I don't now if there is any difference or preference among them?
which one is better? or what criteria should I use to make a decision?

You should Connecticut, almost all IMG's not in residency use that board cuz it doesn't have many requirements other than you having an ecfmg certificate..

  • You can take the exam in any Prometric center.
  • The Prometric center does not have to be in the same state that you have chosen to apply to.
  • You don't have to do residency in the same state that you have applied to, you can do residency in any other state.
  • There's no difference between Connecticut and any other state that does not require ACGME residency training before applying for Step 3.

All those issues discussed here

Not only Connecticut. Everybody in USA will not recognize your USMLE steps if they are 7 years old, you have to take the USMLE again.
