if it helps I've seen people posting their experience in other forums with the same feeling that you had; however they said that what helped them was a good performance on CCS and since you did well on CCS I wouldn't freak out much!

Can you pls. share your exam experience, like % questions in IM, OBGYN, etc, as well as CCS. Were you familiar with all the cases on CCS or did you get any rare disease/weird case on it? Thanks!

I wont ask you about exam experiences or ratio of questions right now..What I will do is give you some hope.

First this step is the hardest (along with step 2 cs)..the reason being that it is a 2 day test and has a shitload of questions + the CCS part.

There is another forum that is similar to this one that has mostly AMG's and a lot of them walkout of the exam feeling like crap.. even worse than step 1 or CS.. their average is a 221 (pretty damn good if you ask me).

This exam is designed to be like this because people take it far within residency.. and that makes recall hard.

I have seen people that have fell into depression and have ended with over 250 (yes a 250 on this exam is pretty much a 270 on the other 2).

If you apply a good overall knowledge and reasoning there is no way you will perform bad.. the odds of you passing this test are the highest amongst the rest of the tests (Ironic isnt it? coming from the hardest exam of them all).

You will come back in 4 weeks being happy as **** and getting so drunk it wont even be funny.

hahahaha.. Asking for help to someone who is ASKING for help and is feeling upset is kind of weird and feels unnatural.. I asked you in a nice manner because I used to respect you but..Reactions like yours make me wonder if people around here just care from themselves instead of offering actual and real support to other's struggles? Posts like yours only shows that you are a sellfish dude, therefore i wont wish you good luck because unlike you im not a hypocrite.

And you should really google the meaning of nosy.. which in this case doesnt apply to anyone.

Peace

Thank you; no one will miss this selfish hypocrite on these forums anyways, people that dont contribute and only act as leeches are quite annoying and should disappear.

I hope you are feeling better now Qurat21, a lot of people have felt the exact same way as you and they end with awesome scores. You can read several threads here o in other popular forums.

Did you take Archer Review? He is REALLY good! I'm getting ready for my own exam but I listen to him on his workshop and he makes me feel confident about my exam.
What was your weak area? MCQ? or CCS? Sit down and conciously reveiw that so you know where to give a better effort, you've gotten this far so keep on!

I'm glad to see that you figured out what went wrong. Best of luck next time.
