Wink buh bye usmle

Done with step 3..ques were all very small n 2 to 3 lines unlike grangutan ques we have all experienced.. n all bout basic topics...ccs..practised it frugally...but in the exam..all straight forward cases and all pt got better..its easy..n not such a big deal after u practice once or twice on uworld..subscribed to archer but had no time for him..will gove detailed analysis is any1 interested in my experience..after a week...goin on HONEYMOON..after 6 months of marrige as my wife was getting bipolar on me for not taking her anywhere all these months
U ALL ARE CHAMPIONS AND WILL KILL STEP 3..SO DONT WORRY AS EXAM IS EASIER THAN UWORLD AND NBME 3..AND ABSTRACT SIMILAR TO THE ONE IN UWSA.

HI.. I would say that it would be foot in mouth for me if i fail the exam..but I guess I was able to cack most of the ques on the exam and the ques I got were pretty straight forward and small in length.

bout CCS.. I was pretty wary of it in the beginning..but I made a plan during one of my 24 hour shifts..
the first thing I did was to divide the CCS topic wise from the uworld software (52 cases) and their free samples (49 cases) ..e.g gastroenterology
Then I studied theory from kaplan (might be MTB/HARRISON in ur case)
opened the relevant case in the software e.g IBD..then closed the case and went straight to explanation..read the third part i.e clock management first..make the flow chart in the kaplan notes along with the topic..
read the flowchart twice and afetr that u will find it pretty easy to do it on software after that..made similar notes of all 49 plus 52 topics and the i was basically reading/revising the text as well as doing ccs in my head from the same book. (I call it the retrograde approach)
Its very basic/ easy software to practise on and it completely replicates the one in the exam..(we all have more complex mobiles)
Interesting thing I noticed is people complaing that cases end abruptly...It is the inbuilt mechanism of this software that as soon it recogises that u have put in the relevant keywords it..proceeds to next step..so u need to have a step by step approach...e,g If a patient with anaemia comes...and he really has colon CA..and I do all inv like CBC,TSH,COLONSCOPY,FOBT..etc on the same day and scedule him for surgey te same day case will end..but is it the right approach..no..coz he is an elective patient and u managed him like an emergency...bottom line is practice all 52 cases twice and u will become a natural (and u wont even realise it).and finish ccs in exam in 5-10 minutes..
I sincerely hope I was able to help and things are really as easy as I believe them to be..pray to god I pass and match..or else..I will haunt this forum forevever.

subscribed to archer and am a firm believer that u all are too intelligent to operate this software and u can easily figure it out..i subscribed to it and after 2-3 hours found it a waste of money..but I just want to to say it was just my experience..and I respect and learn fom those people who have used this software on this fourm..and again the choices we make to use the tools of our knowledge are subjective..
