Listening Step 3 score 212

I just got my Step 3 result today. Passed it on my first take with a score of 212.

I dont know what to think about this. My previous steps were decent and much better than this. I honestly was not expecting a score lower than 220. Will my step 3 score destroy my chances of matching?

Please help. Thank you.

The fact is that there is very little data about the how Step 3 would impact your chances of matching. The last survey on Program Directors' criteria to evaluate applications puts very little importance on Step 3, mostly because almost no AMG takes it before residency. Now once you took it and got your score... who knows??!!... I've done some research on that topic and there is no data...

Your only option, I think, is apply common sense.... low score? possibly a bad impact... high score?... the opposite possibility... but that's a very gray area in the USMLE...
