Listening Step 3 discontinuation?

Is step 3 examination going to be discontinued after August 2014?

I have my exam next monday.. From what I see step 3 will still be required but wont have a state sponsorship.

Not going anywhere , there are going to be major changes, you will no longer need state sponsorship, the content will change they will add more basic science principles for clinical practice and the structure of the exam as well ( not 2 consecutive day, but separated as I understand )
