Hi!

I am no authority in this kind of things, but i'll give you my advice anyway. Although no mock test (NBME or Uworld assessment, which are the only available for step 3) is completely accurate, everyone should have some sort of security margin above the passing score (currently 190) before going to the real test, just to feel sure. In my opinion about 20 points would be a fair margin, especially considering that the mock tests evaluate only the MCQ part, and not the CCS.

Now, both of your mock test scores are borderline, so if you just focus in those parameters it would be risky to sit for the exam now. On the other hand, if you consider that you are awesome in the CCS, or that your average percentage of correct answers in qbanks are decent or high, that may change the picture. In your mock test report, pay attention to the bars graphic.

I really cannot tell you what to do or not to do, but with the information you have posted, my conclusion is that it would be risky.

Don't do it, you might FAIL! I just took this exam last month and though I scored in the 230's, this exam nevertheless is not easy. Do the uworld again, then add another qbank and re-read MTB. You have to score in the 220's for uworld assessment before taking the exam.

Thank you Sezary and jezmd for your reply.

I will read usmle world, mtb once again and probably kaplan q bank and then will take an assessment and see how the scores are . My usmle world q bank scores are around 56%.
Right now, i will postpone it by a week. If you feel any other new material would be of help to improve my score, please let me know.
Thank you very much for your advise.

That should be enough. Its not wise to add too much new material when you're this close to your exam. The important thing is to consolidate what you have already learned and hone in to your time management skills since the question stem in this exam is really long. Be sure you can finish each block within the given time. Goodluck!
