Biochemistry Amino Acid Contribution to Purines

Amino acids that contribute at least one nitrogen or carbon to the purine ring during the biosynthesis of purine nucleotides are ;

a. alanine, asparagine, and lysine
b. alanine, methionine, and histidine
c. aspartate, arginine, and histidine
d. aspartate, glycine, and glutamine
e. glycine, serine, and tyrosine
