i am applying for b1b2 visa for observership..
the problem is i am currently unemployed..
i was doing volunteer research in the US for 1 year on a j1 visa and came back in feb.
i had a multiple entry b1b2 issued in 2009 which was valid for 10 years but i lost my passport last time i was in the US
my questions are:
1)how do i explain my unemployed status in my visa application.. an immigration attorney told me not to mention my intention to do IM residency in the US unless absolutely necessary.
2)since i was not being paid for my work on research.. would that be
considered in previous employment?
I am very scared coz getting this visa is so important.. and i saw sooooo many rejections being posted on the net.
please please advice.
