Lets gear up for the upcoming 2018 match. We still have a long way to go. I hope we can all help each other and make all of our dreams come true.
Please post your credentials in the following format.
Name- Step 1/ck/cs/3/YOG/VISA status/USCE/ Publications
- Any additional information
Note:
> If you have an attempt in any step, please mention in brackets. For example if anyone failed step 1 and then passed it in the second attempt ---- type in 215(2)
>Please mention the type of USCE in brackets. For example, (Electives) or (Extern) or (Obs)
Is there any point to just posting your stats and that's it? How about we make a whatsapp group where we can ask questions back and forth? I think posting stats is useless unless you're specifically asking for some advice, and the one giving advice needs to see your stats to assess your situation before giving said advice.
Could anyone please clear this confusion.
Can we IMGs apply to these programs? The program description says so but the PD and most others in the selection committee have a D.O. after their name. Is it worth applying to these programs? I mean do they actually consider non D.O. students?
Some programs clearly mention osteopathic recognition while some don't.
You could try to apply without it but it will reduce your interview calls, obviously a lot of programs will waitlist you pending cs, but maybe by the time your cs results are released they would have filled up their interview spots, but hey if you have the money why not try.
