hi
I want to ask about my medical diploma, In my collage they give only the Arabic version of diploma and I have to translate it in a translation office ......... but I want to ask when I will send my documents that include my diploma (2 photo copy) in Arabic but only the original diploma is certified in Foreign Affairs but do the photo copies also need to be certified in Foreign Affairs also????? then send it.. and also for the translation diploma does it need to be certified in Foreign Affairs? then I will send it and how many photo copy??? thanks |

No you don't need to certify the translation document.
The translator should mention that your original document is certified by the foreign affairs department and that's it, that would be enough for the ECFMG. So what you will send to the ECFMG is the following. Copy of your original Arabic Diploma + Translation document stapled to it. Just make sure that the translator mention the name of the company and the name of the translator and he/she should be certified authorized translator. Another issue, is to make sure that your name is matching between the Diploma translation, the medical school transcript, and all the other documents that you are going to be using with the ECFMG. |

my translation contain 2 paper stapled together (arabic and english)
so in the booklet they mention I must send 2 photo copies of my diploma: 1) is that means 2 translation diploma (the one contain Arabic and English) and by the way my translation diploma is certified by Foreign Affairs And no need to send another 2 copies of the Arabic diploma?????? 2) my original diploma (Arabic) is certified by Foreign Affair and when I will do a copy of it do I need to certify the copy by Foreign Affairs?????? thanks for reply but i am really confused ![]() |

You should follow these steps:
-You don't need to send the original diploma to ECFMG -You don't need a foreign affairs stamp over the translation or over the copy. |
