Hi All,
I'm applying mainly for IM this year.
my whole CV is basically for IM.
I'm not a very big fan of FM or Peds but also I'm not a fan of not matching, can't really afford not to match this year, financially, emotionally & physically.
I was advised to apply to FM or Peds to have something to fall back on just in case but there's nothing in my CV that shows that I'm interested nor I have done anything in the US or outside it that is related to them (except for a year of internship in my home country that I rotated in peds for 2 month & different other specialties).
my question is , should I apply to either FM or Peds or it's a waste of money, that I don't really have??
below are my credentials
US-IMG \ 2011 \ 228\ 212 \ Pass \ 1 months externship IM \ 1.5 years clinical research at Harvard in GIT + Shadowing \ 5 Publications & 2 posters \ strong US-LoR from research and 1 from externship.
Thank you all
