Unhappy High profile IMGs not matching!

hi guys.
i just want to understand..how is it possible that imgs with 90+ scores who are FRESH graduates AND have USCE go unmatched????? I mean is this usmle thing just a big gamble? i mean realistically speaking can u even match???? seriously i've been reading some posts and to me it seems as though the whole package isn't even enough...then what is? is this whole route worth it? it's already expensive and long....would like to hear your thoughts on this...

Dear add1,

I surely understand your concern and fear! Let me give you my example, I had good scores and little USCE(OBS and Volunteer) and believe me I knew nobody in USA, whole application was on my own following ERAS protocol. I got 11 Ivs and matched
I believe what matter is offcoarse a whole package like scores, USCE, But dont forget there are many other things---

1) Selection of programs (Although i did apply in unive programs but being IMG and having no externship or research I had to apply more widely in community programs...BE REALISTIC)

2) Performance during IVs.. its important factor as well... u need to show other side of your personality.

3) Followup and constantly showing interest..

When I was at IV, PD gave me an example of how he dropped a candidate with scores in 270s because of his ill behavior.
