Question Should Caribbean Students Mention US Rotations as Work Experience in ERAS?

Hey everyone,
I have been getting mixed responses about this, so I am hoping someone can clear this up for me.

As a Caribbean med school student who did all core clinical rotations in the US and electives in US and Canada, should I list each experience with location of the rotation under the work experience or would it be redundant?
My medical school transcript doesn't list at which hospitals the rotations were done.

I think it's a difficult call to make. It depends on the personality and knowledge of the PD. Those PDs who know that Caribbean students rotate in US and have strict personalities may think that mentioning such core rotations as work experience is a redundant act. Those who are not that much knowledgeable about Carib schools and not very strict may actually get impressed when they see them in work experience.

I would probably lean more towards mentioning it just to show off that you really have US experience.

There are also other way to send the message such as by LoRs from those rotations or mentioning it in the personal statement.

Let's see what others say about this, am not sure
