Are you talking about the upcoming (2018) MATCH ? Applying to new programs now would probably be useless.

1. Check the programs you are interested in, but late deadlines are usually Dec 31st. Do you know of any programs that have deadlines in 2018 ?

2. All interview slots have been filled for a long time. Some applicants might be called at the last minute because of a cancellation, but I am talking about applicants on wait list.

3. Lots of programs are done with their interviews. Interview season will surely be over in 3 weeks.

Instead of applying to new programs I would suggest you call all the programs you have applied to, and ask them if they are still running interviews. If yes let them know you are highly motivated and will make an interview at their program a top priority.

I want to make sure I understand = "You are talking about the 2018 MATCH. Selected applicants start their residency on July 1st 2018".

IMG are 99% of the time ECFMG when their application is released to programs - the official date was Sept 15, 2017. You have not received any invitation for an interview because you are NOT ECFMG certified.

I do not know what the official deadline for submitting an application is because every program sets their own date. It is your responsibility to check every program and find out. But it is pretty sure than every program will stop running interviews by the end of January.

Your are an IMG, you have not scheduled Step 2 CK, interview season is almost over. I am sorry but you have NO chance this year.

You are on time for the 2019 MATCH on the other hand. BUT make sure to take Step 2ck by the end of July. Results can take up to 4 weeks to be released. You want you application to be ready by mid September 2018 (I do not know the official date for next year's MATCH).

If you are an IMG, you need to have all the documents, USMLE scores and should be ECFMG certified, and USCE experience before September 15th
